My good friend Dave Gau organized, once again, a terrific fund raiser for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.  For those unfamiliar, the organization encourages solidarity with child sufferers of cancer by having participants shave their heads, in addition to raising money to fund cancer research.  It is a lot of fun and silliness, but for a very good cause.  My son and I did it last year, but not with Dave’s event.  This is the first time we have done it with his group, held with style at the offices of his appropriately named graphics and animation company, ShaveFX.  Dave’s wife Terry cooked up some rockin’ food, and the guys from Riverfront Hair Center comped us some sweet summer doo’s.

It was great fun for the 13 of us to get shaved, and, I suspect, for the dozens that watched.  And, to boot, we raised over 5 grand for a worthy cause.

The clippers may look dangerous, but Jeff doesn't seem to mind.
